#Reverb10 Day 25: Photo

Note: This is the twenty-forth in a month-long exercise called Reverb10, where bloggers reflect on the year before and think towards the year ahead. The idea is to post daily, based on the day’s prompts; let’s see how well I do.

Prompt: Photo – a present to yourself. Sift through all the photos of you from the past year. Choose one that best captures you; either who you are, or who you strive to be. Find the shot of you that is worth a thousand words. Share the image, who shot it, where, and what it best reveals about you.

There are two that come to mind: one from the wedding, one from the honeymoon. Both pretty much speak for themselves, methinks.

Drinking espresso in Sora, on our honeymoon. Shot by Nick. What can you say, really?

My favorite wedding photo ever, taken by Sam Morse, intrepid Air Force photographer. Who flew in from Japan to shoot our wedding. I am incredibly blessed.

Wedding photos! Finally!

Hoping that these are actually coming through now. Spent some time today cleaning through my Flickr stream to steady the flow a bit. My friend Sam Morse took these – an amazing photographer stationed with the Air Force in Masawa, Japan. We were lucky enough to have him fly all the way from Japan to be with us that night, and we love him that much more for it.
